As part of the “ONE Babson” experience, Student Success Advisors strive to educate and empower students to take ownership of their educational journey, recognize and understand the interconnectedness of their academic, personal, and professional successes in order to make intentional decisions that optimize their educational experiences. Student Success Advisors collaborate with faculty and staff members in supporting students in self-exploration as they develop educational plans that include their academic focus, achieving their individual goals, and becoming engaged members of the Babson College community.

Dr. Diep H. Luu

Director, Student Advising & Success

Dr. Diep Luu provides leadership and vision for the Department of SAS to develop a student-centered, integrated, and seamless learning experience that seeks to leverage the connectivity between student and academic affairs. He also supervises the Student Success Advisors and provides academic and personal support to students, including advisement on course selection and registration, academic planning, study abroad, and off-campus course work.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Mathematics from the University of California at Davis, his Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of Connecticut, and his PhD in Educational Policy & Leadership, Higher Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
