Clubs and Organizations

AMAN exists to increase awareness surrounding the countries comprising South-East through a unification of the diverse people, heritage, languages, and cultures. The organization represents 5 South Asian countries and their cultures, such as India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. We host several events and meetings to not only spread cultural awareness but to create a “home away from home” for all South Asians at Babson.

The Organization’s purpose is to be an inclusive community that celebrates the diversity within African culture and the economic opportunities in Africa in an effort to promote a learning and social environment that will enrich students’ interest in Africa. We have 3 pillars that we seek to provide to Babson students: Support, Education, and Development. We want to support students on campus who identify with their African lineage/heritage by building a community at Babson. We seek to educate those who don't know much about African culture by spreading knowledge through our events and communication platforms. We want to develop our organization to leave a lasting impact or be considered as more memorable to students, staff, and faculty on this campus.

Babson Asian Pacific Student Association is based upon four principles:

This organization helps women MBA students build networks, find and be a mentor, develop leadership skills and transition to their next professional opportunity. BAWMBA encourages the advancement of women in leadership roles and promotes awareness of women's issues within the business context. BAWMBA offers excellent opportunities to network with other Babson students and visiting guests through its formal events and informal gatherings.

Babson Hillel promotes an open and welcoming space for the Jewish and non-Jewish Babson community while also enriching the lives of Jewish students so that they enrich the world. Babson Hillel members are involved with multifaith programming and programming with other local Boston campuses.

The mission of the Babson College Black Student Union is threefold:

1. Foster a sense of community among the students at Babson that self-identify as Black/African American or have ancestral connections to the African Diaspora, while concurrently serving as a source of academic empowerment and professional development.

As a student organization at Babson College, it is our goal to continuously empower a ripe generation of black business and entrepreneurial leaders who will make lasting economic and social change in the world.

The Latin American Student Organization is Babson College’s Undergraduate Hispanic and Latino organization. Its main purpose is to expose the Babson community to the Hispanic and Latin American heritage by means of educational programming, cultural events, and open communication.

Our main goals are to:

• Provide a safe space for marginalized groups to feel comfortable, validated, and supported.

To accomplish this, ONE hosts many events on campus, including but not limited to: weekly student-run forums on different cultural issues, open-campus lock-ins, various workshops, movie/sports viewing nights, and different social events focused on inclusion.
